'Where did you do your hair?'
"There are many people who go to the hair salon and say, 'Take care of yourself.' There is no way to get information. Actually, I can not find the right result because I am worried about how to do my hair style. On the road, I do not have the content "That style is okay" on the web. "
Kang Min-suk is about to launch a mobile-based SNS 'hair-flyer' sharing a hairstyle. Hair Plane is a service that allows users to share their hair shape with the location information and photographs. It will be released as an iPhone app by mid-February. This is because I wanted to include the meaning of the English "planner" together with the name of the Korean service as "hair".
Kang Min-suk, who designed the hairplane, worked as a designer at ITH through a cacao intern, and worked at the service factory of IT department of Grope Korea. A year ago, when I started working for GrouPhone Korea, I came up with an idea about sharing a hairstyle. In December last year, we launched Group Mobile Korea and began to prepare mobile-based services in earnest. It is still in the process of establishing the corporation and incubating it in ITH.
There is a question. Do people need information about the shape of the hair so that the 'hair style SNS' is needed separately? "In the portal, 'Male head recommendation' or 'Female head recommendation' is a keyword that people frequently search for so that the search term is automatically completed. However, if you search for it, there is no proper content. There is a portal site operated by the hair side company, but this is not a place for consumers, so I do not have the information I want. The hairstyle information we can find now is too refined. "
Kang Min-suk's 'Refined Information' refers to a hairstyle that the general public can not easily try. It is not easy to make a head shape that is introduced to the magazine by ordinary people. Where is it easy to have a full set hair every day? However, the shape of the hair that comes from today 's friends is different. If your hair looks okay, the question "Where did you go?" Naturally comes out. These questions are not usually done, but more often when you go to the beauty salon. 'Where are you going?'
The Hair Plane seems to focus on two questions: 'How to change your hair' and 'Where to do it'. "I usually use a short hairstyle, but the style changes slightly depending on the hair designer." Kang Min-suk narrowed down the concept of hairplane by asking "what hairdresser would you like to go to?"
"It will be a form of taking photos and sharing location information. It is a 'beauty salon portfolio' created by the user instead of the beauty salon. When you click on a map or a hair salon in the list, you can see the hairstyle that you are serving. The beauty salon will not see the best style of this model for you, but you will see the information you have uploaded yourself. Then the users will be able to think 'this hairdresser is doing this style'. "
Listening, we were searching for information about hair styles in everyday life even though there was no specialized service like hairplane. But do people use the hair-flap as active as the fashion-themed SNS style share? Clothes can be changed several times a day, but it is difficult to change hair once a month. Kang Min - suk also said this is a homework to solve.
"I am going to expand the user base. Before the launch of the service, I plan to support English and Japanese. I also have an introduction page for Japanese and English. In Japanese version, a Japanese friend who met while writing a pen pal app called "Wonder" translated it. "I already got one Japanese user.
Kang Min-seok said that he wants to make a place to take pictures and share it when he likes his appearance that day, like a self-portrait on a hair-flap. In addition to the hair that comes out of the hair salon, it is possible to share the everyday appearance. The hair I touched yesterday will not be the same as this morning.
The Hair Plane will recruit a service tester (beta testers) by February 15 and release the service in March. The service recruitment and hairplane news can be confirmed on the official blog and Facebook page.
